Overwatch Free Weekend Returns on November 18 for PS4, Xbox One & PC

Just like they did in September, Blizzard is hosting another Overwatch Free Weekend worldwide on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Running from November 18 at 11am PT until November 21 at 4pm PT, you’ll be able to test out every single hero and map:

For this free weekend, we’re making Overwatch’s full roster of 22 heroes and 13 maps available for play in a variety of modes, including Quick Play, Custom Games, and the latest Weekly Brawl. Players will also have the ability to level up, earn Loot Boxes, and unlock a variety of different customization options.

The four game modes available in the Free Weekend are Assault, Escort, Assault/Escort Hybrid, and Control, and all game modes and maps support 12 players (6v6). In addition to training modes, the Free Weekend includes Quick Play, Play vs AI, Custom Game, and Weekly Brawl.

While you don’t need a key or code to access the Overwatch Free Weekend (it’ll just be a free 12GB download from the PlayStation Store), you will need a PlayStation Plus membership on PS4, an Xbox Live Gold membership on Xbox One, or a Battle.net account on PC.

If you decide to buy Overwatch after testing it out during the Free Weekend, you’ll keep all of your progress – including levels as well as skins and other items you get from Loot Boxes – so long as you use the same PSN, Xbox Live, or Battle.net account.

In other Overwatch news, the PTR Update featuring Sombra, The Arcade, and the Ecopoint: Antarctica map recently went live on PC. A release date for the update on all platforms hasn’t been announced yet.
