Siegecraft Commander Launches on January 17, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One & PC

An action-strategy hybrid, Siegecraft Commander is releasing on January 17, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, priced at $19.99 USD, Blowfish Studios announced today. Although it will support HTC VIve and Oculus Rift on PC, nothing was said about PlayStation VR.

Featuring local and online multiplayer for up to four players, Siegecraft Commander sees you building fortresses, guiding soldiers, and destroying enemies with catapults mounted to structures. While the campaign only offers real-time combat, the multiplayer lets you choose between either turn-based or real-time gameplay. Thanks to cross-platform support, PS4 players can play against PC players.

The description says:

Siegecraft Commander is the latest installment in the popular Siegecraft franchise. With a combination of twitch mechanics and positional tactics, the objective is to build a fortress in a branching structure with specialised towers connected with lofty indestructible walls. Almost everything is performed by adjusting the angle and trajectory of projectiles. Fans of cult classic Moonbase Commander will appreciate the fresh look and overall improvements.

Blowfish CEO Benjamin Lee added, “Siegecraft Commander‘s breadth of structures and units, their potentially domino-like chain reaction if one falls, and the challenge of pulling off well-aimed shots make for a strategy experience unlike any other.”
