Adventure Game Mosaic Announced for PS4 by Among the Sleep Dev

Krillbite Studio, the developer behind Among the Sleep, has announced that Mosaic is coming to PlayStation 4, in addition to PC. They’re currently in the middle of production on Mosaic and hope to complete development by late 2017.

A “mysterious adventure game,” Mosaic focuses on a person living their repetitive life in a cold, systematic city where every day feels the same and you have no meaning or sense of purpose in your life. This all changes one day when “strange things start to happen around you and everything changes.” If the trailer’s any indication, those strange things include getting a fish head and falling in the ocean.

Although Mosaic falls into a different genre – it’s something of a point-and-click adventure game – Krillbite says it retains the “same ‘soul’ and attention to atmosphere and narrative” as Among the Sleep.

Here’s a list of features you can expect to find in Mosaic:

  • The game will include several gameplay features like narrative and puzzles.
  • Instead of an eerie, dark atmosphere like that of Among the Sleep, you will now get an angsty, clammy atmosphere of work related stress and social alienation that will scare you in a different way.
  • Our goal is to focus on stories, creating experiences that enriches the player.

Mosaic will be present at PlayStation Experience in Anaheim, California on December 3 and 4.
