Good news for those of you who played through either the alpha or beta build of Nioh – or both! – as Koei Tecmo has revealed the clear bonuses to be two helmets: Onryoma and Hinoenma.
Confirmation hails from one of the publisher’s livestreams, noting that the Onryoma Helmet will become available for those who completed the alpha, while anyone who played through the beta build of Nioh will be entitled to the Hinoenma Helmet. Details of said bonuses come in tandem with some new gameplay for the PS4 title (see below), showcasing a battle against an enemy known as a Great Toad. It begins around the 37:00 mark.
Expect a second livestream to take place on December 20. Here, you’ll be able to go up close and personal with that headgear.
Nioh will make a beeline for PS4 on February 7 in North America, February 8 in Europe, and February 9 in Japan.
