In addition to the $100 PlayStation Store credit, Sony is also sending out 20% off PlayStation Store discount codes to select users subscribed to the PlayStation Newsletter.
As multiple people have shown, the discount code was included inside the most recent PlayStation Newsletter, sent out on Friday/Saturday with the title “[PSN name], see what’s new this week.” Underneath the Holiday Sale banner in the email, Sony thanks you for reading the newsletter and offers up a code for a 20% in-cart discount on the PlayStation Store.
Likely only sent out to PSN users in the United States, the code expires on Tuesday, December 19, and carries these terms and conditions:
Receive 20% off one transaction made on PlayStation Store on PS3, PS4 or on the online store (store.playstation.com). Does not apply to transactions made on PlayStation Store on PS Vita, PlayStation TV, PSP or in-game. Some exclusions apply, including but not limited to PS Plus memberships, subscriptions, game pre-orders, PS Now content, Spotify subscription on PlayStation Music, and rental video content. Code must be redeemed at checkout and discounted transaction completed before 11:59pm PT on December 19, 2016.
