Adding in New Game Plus and more, the December update for Dishonored 2 will be available on Monday, December 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Bethesda and Arkane have announced.

“With this new mode, combine Empress Emily Kaldwin’s abilities with Royal Protector Corvo Attano’s signature powers to create any custom combo of multiple powers that you can imagine,” Bethesda explains. “Unlocked once you complete the game as either Emily or Corvo, New Game Plus lets you begin anew as either character with access to each hero’s full suite of abilities plus all the Bonecharm Traits and Runes collected from your previous playthrough that you can re-assign to choose the powers you want.”

The update on December 19 (aka Game Update 1) will also include a Quick-Access Wheel option for hiding/unhiding items, AI detection tweaks to clarify when you’re detected or not, various fixes and enhancements to Blood Thirst, various UI and game logic issue fixes, and general performance and optimization improvements.

Then, in January 2017, Arkane and Bethesda will release Game Update 2. More details will be available in the coming weeks, but for now we know it will include two new features: Mission Select and additional Custom Difficulty Settings that further tailor to your playstyle and adjust the challenge based on a wide array of settings.

If you haven’t grabbed them yet, there’s three free Dishonored 2 dynamic themes available on the PlayStation Store (North America, Europe).
