Live Action Ghost Recon Wildlands Trailer Stars a Cat

The year is still young (we’re only six days into it, after all), but Ubisoft may have just released the best trailer of 2017. Their latest promotional video, which you can watch embedded above, for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is a live-action video, and shows a creative solution that a sniper comes up with. In the 90-second video shows the sniper using his red dot scope to use the adorable white feline as a distraction. Watch the Ghost Recon Wildlands trailer above to find out if the soldier is successful or not.

The rather funny Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands trailer ends by pointing players to the game’s official website, where players can sign up for an upcoming beta test. To sign up, players will have to login using their Ubisoft Club account, and then select which system they want to play the beta on (Xbox One, PlayStation 4 or PC). After a few clicks the painless registration process will be over and the site will tell players that “[Ubisoft] will contact you via email if you are selected for our future beta phases.”

The tactical shooter was revealed at E3 2015, and was one of the most impressive games of the show. Since then, developer Ubisoft Paris has been hard at work on the game, which will take place in an open world. The shooter is set in Bolivia, and has a story that deals with the drug cartel and cocaine trade.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands releases March 7, 2017. The third-person action game will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Players can register for the game’s beta over at Ubisoft’s official website.
