New DualShock 4 Features Detailed in Trailer

In case gamers haven’t had enough of trailers, even the new DualShock 4 is getting one! In case you didn’t know, the PlayStation 4 Slim and the PS4 Pro’s bundled in DualShock 4 controller has a slight difference compared to the original DualShock 4.

Possibly the biggest change to the new DualShock 4 compared to the old one is the light bar’s color hue can now be seen on the touchpad. You no longer have to peek or guess what color your controller is when it comes to player designation or other things that require it. Other than that, the usual d-pad, analog sticks and triggers are the same, which is both a good and bad thing (seriously, the PS5 controller should have built-in triggers by default).

Speaking of new hardware, check out the new Glacier White PS4 Slim that’s all kinds of sexy. We also ran a Help Desk feature today where we tell you how to properly clean your DualShock 4 (old or new).

Are there any big changes from the new DS4 compared to the old one? Something that hasn’t been mentioned in the video? If so, let the others know in the comments.
