Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Review 1

Previewing some of their plans for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in 2017, developer Infinity Warfare brought out their January 2017 Community Update yesterday, announcing that leaderboards will finally arrive later this month. Then, by late February, both Combat Records and the in-game Emblem Editor will be released:

Before the end of this month we’ll roll out Leaderboards, and by late February we’ll release Combat Records and the in-game editor that allows for custom emblem creation. We know everyone is anxious to get their hands on these features and we’re doing everything we can to finish testing, wrap them up, and get them out to you.

When the leaderboards go live, they’ll tell you what percentile you’re in overall and, if you’re in the top 10,000 overall, you’ll be able to see your specific rank in that list of 10,000. There will also be friend leaderboards, where you can see how you compare to your friends on a weekly, monthly, and all-time basis.

“Once the update is live your leaderboards will be populated after you play a match in that mode,” Infinity Ward adds. “So, don’t fret if you don’t see all your data straight away. We’ll be rolling out more details on the leaderboards once they are live.”

Elsewhere with Infinite Warfare, Infinity Ward is working on new game modes, new ideas to keep things exciting, and increasing support for all players. In addition to announcing Tactical TDM as a permanent game mode, the team also revealed that they’ll be making all future featured modes available for an entire week, rather than just a weekend.

The first expansion for Infinite Warfare, Sabotage, launches on January 31 for PlayStation 4. The PlayStation Store says it will unlock at 12am ET on January 31, and anyone who pre-orders the DLC or owns the Season Pass will receive an exclusive Zombies dynamic theme. Expect a game update to arrive at the end of the month to add Sabotage support.
