PS4 Deck-Building Game ArmaGallant: Decks of Destiny Comes West on April 4

A deck-building game that mixes together RTS and MOBA gameplay elements, ArmaGallant: Decks of Destiny is releasing on April 4 in North America and April 7 in Europe, exclusively for PlayStation 4. It was released in Asia last year and costs SCG 54.00 (roughly $38 USD), with micro-transactions in the form of gems also offered.

Developed by Rock Nano Global, with Maximum Games handling publishing, ArmaGallant features 1v1 or 2v2 multiplayer arena battles that play out in real time. To win the match, you’ll have to defend your monoliths and capture enemy map points by building armies from a collection of creatures and spells.

Here’s the full description:

ArmaGallant: Decks of Destiny combines deckbuilding with real-time strategy, creating fast-paced 1v1 or 2v2 multiplayer arena battles. Learn and evolve the abilities of electrifying creatures and magical spells, forming powerful decks to unleash upon your enemies. You devise your desired game plan. Will you strategically position your army (made up of melee, ranged, and flying classes) around the map, go out like a spellcasting maniac, or utilize your environment to gain a tactical advantage? The choice is up to you. As you win battles, you will unlock more cards, fortifying your deck and bolstering your army.

You can also use your gold winnings to level up your cards, strengthening their overall effects to do more damage. From securing strategic map points to casting the right spells at exactly the right time, ArmaGallant: Decks of Destiny is an epic and exhilarating take on multiplayer RTS games.

Features

  • Harness the Elements. Build powerful decks made up of five elements – Light, Dark, Water, Fire, and Earth – to execute a focused game plan, creating unique and powerful combos.
  • Assemble your Army. Control armies of beautifully illustrated fantasy creatures, utilizing their strengths along with magical spells to take down your opponents.
  • Engage in Real-Time Battle. Use your core battle deck in solo matchups or 2×2 multiplayer team battles. Practice against AI to hone your skills.
  • Vanquish Foes. Deploy strategic tactics and master various card combinations to create a deck of unstoppable power.

Maximum Games’s Andrew Nguyen said, “ArmaGallant is an exciting take on deckbuilding games, relying on RTS rather than turn-based battle maneuvers. For those who love building decks but want the dynamic action of an RTS, this is the perfect blend.”
