As we’re inching closer to Mass Effect Andromeda‘s release, more information about the game is coming to light, with this latest tidbit pertaining to its multiplayer component.

In response to a fan question on Twitter, producer Fernando Melo confirmed that BioWare currently doesn’t have any plans for cross-platform play, and the game will not have dedicated servers. Like Mass Effect 3, it’ll be peer-to-peer. You can see the exchange below.

Mass Effect Andromeda releases on March 21 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. We got some new information about the game’s multiplayer last week, which you can check out here. And in case you missed it, here are two of its latest trailers.

What do our readers think of Melo’s response? Would you have preferred dedicated servers and/or cross-play?
