Mass Effect Andromeda Won’t Feature Cross-Play, Will Have P2P Multiplayer

As we’re inching closer to Mass Effect Andromeda‘s release, more information about the game is coming to light, with this latest tidbit pertaining to its multiplayer component.

In response to a fan question on Twitter, producer Fernando Melo confirmed that BioWare currently doesn’t have any plans for cross-platform play, and the game will not have dedicated servers. Like Mass Effect 3, it’ll be peer-to-peer. You can see the exchange below.
