Skyrim Special Edition Update 1.4 Is Live on PS4 & Xbox One

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition Update 1.4 is now live on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Bethesda has announced.

As the patch notes show, today’s update (should show up as version 1.06 on PS4) brings a Featured category for mods, crash fixes, performance improvements, and more:

New Features

  • Added Featured category for mods
  • Added ability to sort Highest Rated and Most Favorited filters by today, week, month and all time
  • Added number of ratings count to Mods Browsing Menu
  • Added number of favorites count to Mod Details page
  • Added required dependencies to Mod Details page

Fixes

  • General performance and stability improvements
  • Improvements to Reporting mods categories
  • Fixed occasional crashes while scrolling through Load Order menu
  • Improved Bethesda.net error messaging

Skyrim Special Edition is nearing 1,900 mods on PS4, and you can see all of them over here.

While today’s Fallout 4 update brought PS4 Pro support, Skyrim Special Edition has supported it since last year.
