Japanese Sales Chart: Nioh Debuts in 2nd, Sells More Than 75,000 Copies

In its first week on the market, PlayStation 4 exclusive Nioh sold more than 75,000 copies, but it finished in second on the software chart to Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 Professional for 3DS, which moved 122,000 copies. For comparison, Bloodborne sold over 152,000 copies in its first week in Japan.

As Team Ninja revealed on Twitter earlier this week, Nioh is sold out nationwide, and they’re currently shipping out more stock. In the meantime, a 10% discount is being offered on the digitial version.

Looking at hardware, every PlayStation platform was down week-on-week, but PS4 managed to stay in first, selling 22,300 units.
