Horizon Zero Dawn Pre-Load Is Live, Open World & Skills Trailers Released

The digital version of Horizon Zero Dawn is available to pre-load on PlayStation 4, and players have revealed that it’s a 39.5GB download. If you live in North America, Horizon will unlock tonight at 9pm PT (12am ET on February 28). If you live in Europe, it will unlock on Wednesday, March 1 at an unspecified time.

With the release of Horizon so close, Sony has released two more trailers – A True Open World and Skills and Abilities.

In the Open World video, Game Director Mathijs de Jonge and Guerrilla Managing Director Hermen Hulst say, “We never lock the player down and say, ‘Okay, you can’t play this because you’re not the right level.’ And it’s the same for quests or activities. It really is very free-flowing; you can play it any order that you want to and play it at your own pace.”

And here’s the first 17 minutes of Horizon, as posted by IGN:

If you’re a PlayStation Plus member, a free Horizon Zero Dawn theme went live today on the European PlayStation Store. Nothing’s up on the North American PS Store yet.
