Bungie has announced that a new Destiny update is now rolling out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If you’re logged in right now, you’ll be returned to the login screen and prompted to download it. If you aren’t logged in, the update should begin downloading automatically when you start Destiny.
“This update will make no changes to the player experience, and players may immediately resume gameplay once it is installed,” Bungie says. It’s possible today’s update helps pave the way for the Age of Triumph event/update later this month.
The first reveal livestream for Age of Triumph kicks off tomorrow, March 8, at 10am PT/1pm ET on Twitch. “Join Bungie for a reveal of how your Destiny adventure is about to come full circle,” Bungie adds.
In the teaser trailer for Age of Triumph, Bungie says to expect the biggest record book yet, a celebration of your legend, the rediscovery of your finest moments, and more. It also highlights that you need Rise of Iron to access the event.
