Ubisoft Just Dropped the Ban Hammer on 1,500 For Honor Cheaters

Earlier this month, Ubisoft said that it plans to take action against For Honor‘s away-from-keyboard farmers (also applies to those rubber-banding controller sticks) who reap end-game rewards without actually playing. The developer has now announced that it has already handed out three-day bans to 1,500 players following warnings that were sent out last week.

At the same time, around 4,000 more cheaters have been detected and will have warnings sent to them. Those who continue to cheat will end up receiving a permanent ban.

Over on Reddit, Ubisoft reminded players of its community values:

Honor: Fight, win and lose with Honor. Support your teammates.

Respect: Respect your opponents and other community members, inside and outside the game.

Share: Share your experience, share tips and hints, spread the word! Looking forward meeting you all on the battlefields!

We’re told that all those players who’ve been impacted will officially receive an email “detailing their sanction and the reason behind it.”

Don’t say they didn’t warn ya!
