Nioh’s Dragon of the North DLC and Free PvP Update Releasing in May

Koei Tecmo has announced that Nioh‘s first DLC pack, Dragon of the North, will launch on May 2 for $9.99 alongside a free PvP update.

According to a translation by Gematsu, the DLC will let “venture deep into Japan’s embattled Northern provinces” and comes with the following:

  • New weapon types
  • New scenarios
  • New characters
  • New guardian spirits
  • New yokai
  • New stages

Those who have the $24.99 Season Pass can access Dragon of the North as well as the two other upcoming expansions – Defiant Honor and Bloodshed’s End – alongside a PlayStation 4 avatar.

PvP was initially set to be added late April but the update has been pushed a little.

We’ll update our readers when the content and update go live. In the meantime, you can check out our dedicated game hub for more on Nioh.

Are any of our readers currently playing the game and planning to pick up the DLC?
