Shu Comes to PS Vita on May 23, PS4 Version Is Getting Free DLC

Released last October for PlayStation 4, hand-drawn platformer Shu is coming to PlayStation Vita on May 23, developer Coatsink announced today. Last we heard, the PS Vita version will include cross-buy with the PS4 version, which is currently priced at $11.99 USD/£9.49.

With the PS Vita version of Shu, you’ll find an exclusive trophy area, The Refuge, as well as six new DLC levels. Three of the new levels – Beneath the Ruins, No Turning Back, and Depths of Discovery – allow you to play with new character combinations.

The six DLC levels will come to PS4 on May 23 for free. The Steam version will receive three today, April 14, and the remaining three on May 23.

Here’s the description for Shu:

When the great and terrible Storm destroys Shu’s village, he embarks on a desperate journey to survive. On his travels he’ll encounter stranded villagers survivors of the devastation that need his help. In return for his assistance, these peculiar characters will grant Shu unique special abilities that he can use to traverse the treacherous path ahead.

Their only hope is to work together, in search of sanctuary – and a way to stop the Storm. Can you outrun the end of world?
