Previously scheduled for April 21, Micro Machines World Series is launching on June 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and developer Codemasters released the first gameplay trailer today.

In the video, you’ll get a look at the new Battle Modes (including Capture the Flag, Territory, and 6v6 Team Deathmatch), some of the 15 battle arenas (including The Laser Lab, Buzzsaw Battle, and a Hungry Hungry Hippos board), some of the 12 new vehicles (including Spy Car, Hovercraft, Monster Truck, and G. I. Joe H.I.S.S Tank), and a few of the weapons. You’ll also get to sample some of Brian Blessed’s narration, which includes announcing the start of races, “Enemy Flag Taken,” and “Micro Machines Is Alive!”

Micro Machines also includes racing modes, four-player local races, and up to 12-player online multiplayer.

Executive Producer Chris Gray said:

Micro Machines World Series is a fresh new take on the franchise that is great fun for previous players and those new to Micro Machines. It’s a firm fan favorite and we are delighted to be bringing it to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. In addition to the return of the classic Race and Elimination modes, we are extremely excited by the new Battle Arenas. Having 12 players in the same match, all fighting it out with a variety of vehicles and crazy weapons is great fun. Gamers are going to love it.

Micro Machines World Series will be available both physically and digitally. PlayStation Plus members who pre-order from the European PlayStation Store will save 10% off the regular £24.99 price.
