Gran Turismo Sport Beta Update 1.05 Takes Up 9.8GB, Updates Game Physics & Force Feedback

If you’re in the Gran Turismo Sport beta on PlayStation 4, there’s a 9.8GB update waiting for you, players have revealed. According to the PS4’s Update History, you’ll find updated game physics and force feedback, bug fixes, and more:

  • Updated game physics.
  • Updated force feedback.
  • Corrected the sportsmanship rating judgement display.
  • Quick options added to the Pause Menu.
  • Fixed certain bugs.

Players are also reporting that the new patch expands the existing Sport race schedule from a few hours per day to nearly non-stop races each day, adds ghosts in qualifying, and updates the chase cam.

Gran Turismo Sport is scheduled to launch later this year on PlayStation 4 (with PlayStation VR support). In a new blog post this week, Sony didn’t narrow down the release window, only saying it will be out in “2017.”
