PlayStation Newsletter Suggests Star Wars Battlefront II Will Have PSVR Content (Update)

Update: Sony sent a statement to UploadVR saying the “email was incorrect and we apologise for any confusion caused,” and “nothing has been announced regarding PS VR support for Star Wars Battlefront II.”

Original Story: Danish and German versions of the PlayStation newsletter seem to suggest that the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront II will also have PSVR content. No formal announcements have been made in this regard but NeoGAF user bombshell shared an image from the newsletter, which has the “PlayStation VR compatible” logo plastered on the game’s image. You can check it out below.

This doesn’t come as a surprise since Battlefront II‘s predecessor came with the PSVR X-Wing mission. Perhaps, we’ll hear something at Sony’s E3 2017 presser, if not sooner than that.

In the meantime, what we do know is that EA is working on a single-player mode for which we’re told that the company has brought “three of their biggest, best studios to the forefront.”

Star Wars Battlefront II releases on November 17 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Those who pre-order the $79.99 Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition will receive early access on November 14.
