The Silver Case Sequel Is Being Remastered

Grasshopper Manufacture announced at this year’s BitSummit that its sequel to The Silver Case is also getting the remaster treatment. Called The 25th Ward, the game has officially entered production, according to a subsequent announcement on Twitter.

The original was an episodic game that released for mobile devices in Japan back in 2005. While Grasshopper’s Goichi Suda hasn’t confirmed a Western release, the aforementioned tweet came via the developer’s English page so we’re assuming it’ll be officially announced sooner or later.

As for platforms, we’re still awaiting further info and will update our readers. In the meantime, you can check out a teaser above.

A year ago, Suda mentioned that if The Silver Case remaster does well, he’ll consider remaking its sequel and releasing it in the West. We’re not sure how successful the game has been since its release on PS4 and PC but looks like Grasshopper isn’t done with the series just yet.
