23-Minute Monster Hunter World Gameplay Walkthrough Goes After Anjanath

July 6, 2017 Written by Jason Dunning

Capcom has released a brand new, uncut Monster Hunter World gameplay video, which offers 23 minutes of partially narrated footage. During the video, you’ll follow a quest in the Ancient Forest where you have to find and defeat the new monster, Anjanath.

Throughout the 23 minutes, you’ll get to see some of the creatures you’ll find in the New World, including the Great Jagras (which has the ability to swallow its prey whole) and Rathalos, a series favorite.

“Players are able to utilize survival tools such as the slinger and Scoutfly to aid them in their hunt,” Capcom adds. “By using these skills to their advantage hunters can lure monsters into traps and even pit them against each other in an epic fierce battle. Can our hunter successfully survive the fight and slay the Anjanath? He’ll need to select his weapon choice carefully from 14 different weapon classes and think strategically about how to take the giant foe down. Don’t forget to pack the camouflaging ghillie suit!”
