Editor’s Letter – Change and Moving Forward

Change can be a scary thing for a lot of people. It signals a move into a different direction and often a complete overhaul of how you do things. Change is happening here at PlayStation LifeStyle. In fact, most of it has already happened. However, change is not always a bad thing. In this case it will lead to new ideas, new voices, and an improved website going forward. That’s how I view things with the transition that is happening here at PlayStation LifeStyle.

Before I get started talking about all the changes, I would first like to take time to thank Alex Co for his incredible work in turning this website into the place it is today. He worked very hard for three years to grow PSLS and he has provided a high level that I must reach. Oh, and yeah, my name is Cameron Teague. I’m the new Editor-in-Chief. I have been with this site for almost nine years now. I started on the forums way back then, and have worked my way up by doing reviews at first. Lately, I’ve been doing more behind the scenes work.

Also, Suikoden is the best RPG series ever made and I will gladly arm wrestle anyone who disagrees.

With the new direction the site is headed, both Tyler Treese and Chandler Wood will be starting full-time at PlayStation LifeStyle on August 1st. With these promotions, get ready to see a ton of great content flowing from these two guys with new features and much, much more. We have also brought back on a few past freelancers and some other new voices you will start to see around the website. There will be a new effort to deliver you more great gaming news during the day and add in more things like features, interviews, and giveaways.

We aren’t changing what has worked here. Rather, we’re improving it and making it better. I want to thank everyone that checks us out daily for their continued support and ask that you continue to check back with us as we grow and try new things. If you ever have any questions, concerns, or ideas for what we could do differently, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly. You can either email me at cameron [at] playstationlifestyle.net or on Twitter.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and welcome to the new and improved PlayStation LifeStyle!
