Thunder Lotus Games burst onto the gaming scene with the gorgeous Jotun, and now their second game is out today. Called Sundered, the PlayStation 4 title is a hand-drawn Metroidvania title that has players battling Eldritch horrors as they try to escape the world they’re trapped within. It’s currently available on the PlayStation Store for $17.99 (10% off the regular price of $19.99).

“I’m proud to say that Sundered is by far the best game we’ve ever made,” said Thunder Lotus Games’ Creative Director and President Will Dubé.  “And prouder still to have released a second high-quality game on time and on budget. This simply wouldn’t have been possible without the fans that have given us tremendous support since day one.”

If you’re on the fence, make sure to check out our review of Sundered. PlayStation LifeStyle had this to say about the hand-drawn Metroidvania:

It’s not a question of if the player will die in Sundered. They will lose the struggle against the Eldritch horrors that call its world home, and it ultimately comes down to the core theme of resist or embrace. Will the player embrace the challenge, or resist it by giving up? That’ll ultimately come down to how much perseverance a person has, but those that do see the adventure out will be rewarded with more glimpses into a gorgeous world and some incredibly tense combat exchanges.

Sundered is available now for PlayStation 4 and PC. It costs $17.99 currently, so those that pick it up now will get a discount.
