Before NBA 2K18 releases on September 19, you’ll be able to download The Prelude demo on September 8th on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, 2K announced. NBA 2K18 The Prelude is a free download that begins your MyCareer, and you can continue where you left off in the full version.

2K also revealed the first gameplay trailer for NBA 2K18 today, giving you a look at the updates to uniforms and players in this year’s version. Here’s a rundown of the upgrades:

  • Photo Techniques – The developers used new photo techniques with the ability to separate colors for more accurate player skin tones that react to light in true-to-life form.
  • Uniforms – The team visited the NBA New York offices to laser scan each and every new Nike uniform and over 200 pairs of shoes to capture each detail, down to the stitches.
  • MyPLAYER – The customization is like never before, with almost an unlimited amount of body types available and options to adjust and scale nearly every aspect of the athletes in game.

Game Informer breaks down the enhanced player accuracy, revamped player motion, smarter shooting, deeper passing controls, freer ball physics, and more.

NBA 2K18 releases on September 19 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Pre-ordering gets you early access on September 15.
