Crash Bandicoot

For the 7th time since launch in late June, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy finished at #1 in the UK. This time around though, there were a couple of new releases to potentially challenge it, but Agents of Mayhem debuted in 4th and Cities: Skylines PlayStation 4 Edition opened in 20th (the Xbox One Edition placed outside the top 40 earlier this year).

Another big game last week, Sonic Mania, was a digital-only title, but SEGA told Games Industry that it would have won the week by ‘quite some margin’ if digital data was counted.

Here’s the top 20 best-selling games through retail stores in the UK for the week ending August 19, 2017, according to GfK Chart-Track:

  1. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy (down 23%)
  2. Grand Theft Auto V (down 4%)
  3. Fallout 4
  4. Agents of Mayhem
  5. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  6. Doom
  7. Dishonored 2
  8. Rainbow Six Siege
  9. Splatoon 2
  10. Forza Horizon 3
  11. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  12. LEGO Worlds
  13. Horizon Zero Dawn
  14. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
  15. FIFA 17 (down 12%)
  16. LEGO City Undercover
  17. Miitopia
  18. DiRT 4
  19. Minecraft: Xbox Edition
  20. Cities: Skylines PlayStation 4 Edition

With Uncharted: The Lost Legacy out this week, do you think there’s any chance Crash Bandicoot makes it eight weeks at #1?
