As someone who loves music, video game soundtracks are a particular highlight of most games for me. The Destiny 2 soundtrack is an incredible work full of epic highs and emotional crescendos that all help to elevate every moment in the game to a masterpiece crossroads of interactivity and cinematic narrative.

Over on the Bungie store, the Destiny 2 soundtrack is now available for purchase and comes with an exclusive emblem–called “Resonant Chord”–for use Destiny 2.

Described as the “definitive edition” of the soundtrack, the Destiny 2 Original Soundtrack Digital Edition is exclusive to the Bungie store and contains over two and a half hours of music from the game.

A new adventure deserves new anthems. Bring the music of Destiny 2 along with you for all of life’s journeys.

The definitive edition of the official Destiny 2 Soundtrack, the Bungie Store exclusive Destiny 2 Original Soundtrack Digital Edition includes over two and a half hours of music in MP3 format, high-quality Apple Lossless, and FLAC formats for a superior audio experience.

The Destiny 2 Original Soundtrack Digital Edition also includes digital liner notes with a forward from the composers, as well as a download code for the exclusive “Resonant Chord” Destiny 2 in-game player emblem.

Destiny 2 reached more than 1.2 million concurrent players this weekend as people flock to the sequel. Our review in progress calls it the best that Destiny has ever been, with a full scored review to come later this week.

A sequel should be many things. It should be familiar. It should be a step forward. It should cultivate the things that worked. It should improve what didn’t. Finding that balance is difficult without either copying too much of what came before or no longer staying true to the original. As old Guardians and new alike take this step into a world without light, Destiny 2 proves that Bungie has taken great care with this balance. There’s a familiar game here, and yet there’s a game all its own.

As a reminder, a roadmap for the rest of the month detailed that many of Destiny 2’s weekly rituals start this week, including the raid launching on Wednesday, and Trials of the Nine and exotic vendor Xur arriving on Friday.
