New Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Costume DLC Teased in Funko Pops

Funko Pop just revealed that they’re making a Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite inspired line of figures, and it shows some potential premium DLC costumes for the fighting game. Throughout 16 total figures, there are eight characters out of the game’s roster of 30 featured. Each of the two packs contain both a Marvel and Capcom character, although some of the pairings are rather fitting (I need a Mega Man mash-up with Rocket Raccoon).

As you can see, the potential premium costumes feature some awesome callbacks for fans. For example, Chun-Li’s outfit in the first set is reminiscent of how she appears in her Hyper Street Fighter II ending. Captain Marvel is also seen wearing her PS4 exclusive Major Carol Danvers costume.

For even more on the upcoming fighting game, check out our Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite preview from E3 2017. Here’s a snippet of what I had to say:

Now that I’ve had another chance to learn the systems in place, and most importantly change my mindset, I actually have had a lot of fun playing Infinite. It’s definitely a very different experience from Marvel vs. Capcom 3, but since that game is available on PlayStation 4 already, I’m glad to be getting something different. Gameplay revolves less about calling in partners for assists, and instead feels much more like Street Fighter X Tekken from a tactical standpoint. That isn’t a bad thing in of itself, and I feel like more people will appreciate the intricacies of the action once they let go that this isn’t Marvel vs. Capcom 4.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will release September 19 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
