Destiny 2 Leviathan Raid Guide – Details and Strategies for Every Encounter

Destiny 2 leviathan raid rewards

Destiny 2 Leviathan Raid Rewards

Raid Vendor – Benedict 99-40

You may have noticed the Raid being a little stingy with drops and not getting a lot of weapon or armor drops during the Raid itself. This is because Raid rewards are offered through Vendor rep, much like other activities in Destiny 2. Completing the Leviathan Raid once will enable you to visit Benedict 99-40, a hacked frame in the room next to the Bazaar in the Tower (past where Ikora and Hawthorne are located, take stairway down to a lower room where he waits). Turn in the Calus Tokens you received during the Raid to earn reputation and get Raid gear from him.

Leviathan Raid Keys

After each encounter you will earn different keys that allow you to open chests found in the labyrinthine passages beneath the Leviathan. These keys reset each week, so be sure to head down to the underbelly and collect loot from these chests after completing the encounters before reset on Tuesday. Specific keys have specific chest locations, and we’ll have a guide coming soon on how to reach each of them.

Clan Rewards

If you beat the Raid with at least three fireteam members in your clan, you will open up a raid reward from Hawthorne for every member of your clan, whether they beat the raid or not. This gear will drop at a Power level 10, and can be infused up with other weapons to reach top-tier levels.

Note: Keep in mind that you may need to adjust strategies for your group. The strategies posted are how my fireteams have managed to complete each encounter, and they now seem to be widely accepted by the Destiny community. Communication with your group is the key.
