Neko Atsume VR Will Let PSVR Owners Collect Cats in 2018
The Neko Atsume series is coming to PlayStation. During Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show 2017 press conference, developer Hit-Point announced that they were bringing Neko Atsume VR to PlayStation VR. Not much was shown about the upcoming virtual reality title, but we do know that players will be able to collect a bunch of adorable cats.

The announcement was also shown on Twitter, where they weirdly point out that the game will be targeted towards women (plenty of men like cats too, okay?):

The title is an entry in the popular Neko Atsume franchise, which released for mobile devices in 2014. It quickly became a hit, and has received a Nintendo 3DS entry in Japan, and a film adaptation was released earlier this year called Neko Atsume no Ie.
Neko Atsume VR will release in 2018 for PlayStation VR. We’ll share additional details about the cat collecting title as they come in from Tokyo Game Show 2017.
