Code Realize Fandisc

Second Code: Realize Fandisc Gets a Release Date in Japan

The second Code: Realize fandisc, ~Shirogane no Kiseki~, now has a Japanese release date. Shirogane no Kiseki will release December 21 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. While this fandisc is not currently announced for localization, considering that Aksys Games is bringing the first fandisc over in the Code: Realize Collection for PlayStation 4, we can expect this to make its way over eventually.

Here’s a bit more information on the release, courtesy of Gematsu:

The standard physical edition will cost 6,300 yen (plus tax), while the standard digital edition will cost 6,264 yen (plus tax). A limited edition including a “Destination of Her Love” drama CD and “Questionnaire for the Lupin Crew” interview CD will also be available for 8,300 yen.

Code: Realize ~Shirogane no Kiseki~ is the second fan disc in the Code: Realize otome visual novel series.

Visual novels usually don’t get fandiscs or sequels unless they’re popular, but does Code: Realize earn its popularity? Our review of Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ for the Vita should help you out:

Say what you want about the PlayStation Vita, but it sure has a great lineup of obscure Japanese games for those of us who like them. Now otome and visual novel fans have one more title to choose from, since Aksys Games have been kind enough to bring Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ to the handheld. Silly tilde-bearing title aside, don’t be afraid: this is a fun, fairly solid little fantasy that could serve as a great bit of escapism for lovers of steampunk and 19th- and 20th-century literature.

Code: Realize ~Shirogane no Kiseki~ will release December 21 on PlayStation 4 and Vita in Japan.
