Injustice 2 update

Developers Address Injustice 2 Lost Gear Issue, Offers Possible Fix

Yesterday, it was revealed that after updating to 1.10 version of Injustice 2, many players were seeing that most of their earned gears and shaders had been deleted. Today, the developers acknowledged the issue and offered a possible fix.

After the glitch was discovered, hundreds of users flocked to the game’s sub-reddit and forum pages to warn players not to update their game. After seeing the backlash, the developers for the game quickly went to work on trying to find the issue and advised all players who might be affected to reboot the game after installing the patch. Doing this, they said, would recover any gear earned prior to September 25.

Here’s the full statement posted to WB Games Support forum:

We’re aware that some players who downloaded the most recent Injustice 2 patch are missing Gear they have earned. For those affected by this issue – please try and reboot the game after installing the patch. This should recover any Gear earned before 9/25.

If you earned gear after 9/25 that was not restored, the game team is still investigating this issue. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this has caused and thank you for your patience!

For those who might have lost gear after the 9/25 cutoff, the studio seems to working on fixing the issue, and at the very least, something might be coming your way for the troubles.
