Friday the 13th Level Cap is Being Raised Soon

If you’ve already hit the level cap in Friday the 13th: The Game, then I’ve got some good news. The developers announced on Twitter today that they are raising the max level to 150. In addition to raising the level cap to 150, there’ll also be a bunch of new unlockable content. These include new skins for Jason, additional clothing for Counselors, new kills, and the vaguely described “future additional content.” While details are currently scarce, they did say that there’ll be “more news soon on when the max level increase will occur and about future unlockable content.

Also coming soon to Friday the 13th: The Game is the Virtual Cabin 2.0. For more on that addition, check out the description from the official website:

We redid the entire layout of the VC, made it bigger, with more puzzles, easter eggs and props from both the films and the game. VC 2.0 still has an F13 museum aspect to it, but there’s something deeper, beneath the surface if you wish to dig around. We liken this experience to a certain crazy good/fun horror demo that got canceled. However we’re doing our own thing, wrapped in Friday the 13th, and we think it’s pretty cool. The whole experience is in [first] person and has some jump scares that you twisted people love so much.

If you purchased the original VC, you will still have access to that via steam. But VC 2.0 will be accessible by all three platforms (PC, XB1 and PS4) from the main menu of the game. It will be within the Singleplayer section of the menu.

Friday the 13th: The Game is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
