Sony Offering Free One-Month PS Plus Extensions to Those in Areas Affected By Natural Disasters

If you live in one of the areas that were struck by the recent natural disasters in the US, then check your email as you might have received a notification about an extension to your PlayStation Plus membership. Users across the internet have reported that Sony started sending out the following message a few days ago:

We recognize many members of the PlayStation community have been affected by recent natural disasters. We have extended your current PlayStation Plus membership by 1-Month.

Users from Florida, Puerto Rico, and Texas have all confirmed receiving the notification.

If you were affected by disasters and aren’t up to speed with things then make sure to check out the recent PlayStation Store sale to avail some PS Plus discounts. At the moment, Sony’s running a Warner Bros. sale, discounting many games from the publisher including LEGO titles, Dying Light, and Injustice 2 (current offers end on November 14).
