Gundam Versus Adds AGE-2 and Mudrock as DLC in December
Bandai Namco keeps on adding more DLC mobile suits to Gundam Versus as we get nearer to the end of 2017. Two new DLC mobile suits are going to be added in early December, which are Gundam AGE-2 and Gundam Mudrock.
The Gundam AGE-2 is piloted by Asemu Asuno, the protagonist of the second generation in Mobile Suit Gundam AGE. Developed from its predecessor Gundam AGE-1, this second iteration is able to transform into a fighter-like Strider mode, and that feature is also implemented here with the Special Melee command. Although it also has Double Blade and many more possible wears in the Mobile Suit Gundam AGE game for PSP, only the anime-canon Double Bullet wear will make an appearance in Gundam Versus, which Asemu can switch into with the Special Ranged attack command.
With an in-game cost of 400, the Gundam AGE-2 uses a pair of Beam Sabers as its melee weapon and the Hyper DODS Rifle as its primary ranged weapon. Note that the Main Ranged attack is a chargeable shot, while the Sub Ranged attack lets it shoot while moving around.
And we also have Agar’s RX-78-6 Gundam “Mudrock” from the PS2 game Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeonic Front. Note that as Zeonic Front‘s campaign focused on Zeon’s side rather than the usual Earth Federation side, Agar and his Gundam Mudrock would appear as the antagonist unit in the original game.
In Gundam Versus, Mudrock is given the standard in-game cost of 300. It comes off with regular armaments: Beam Saber for the primary melee weapon, Beam Rifle for the primary ranged weapon, and Grenade Launcher for the sub ranged weapon. The pair of 300mm Cannons mounted on its shoulders can also be used with both Special Melee and Special Ranged attack commands. The Mudrock DLC will also come with a new BGM addition from Zeonic Front, titled Challenge to the Hero.
Gundam AGE-2 and Gundam Mudrock, which are both coming out on December 5, will complement Zeydra and Gerhart Schmitzer’s Zaku I which are coming out earlier to Gundam Versus this month on November 21 and 28 respectively.
