Latest Gran Turismo Sport Update Brings Three Cars to the Game, Out Next Week

Over at the European PlayStation Blog, Kazunori Yamauchi – the President of Polyphony Digital – revealed that latest patch for Gran Turismo Sport will be arriving in the game next week on November 27, and will include new cars and some tweaked gameplay features.

For those worried that the cars might be extra, have no fear, as three new free cars will be making their way to the game when the patch goes live next week. The ISO Rivolta Zagato VGT, the Audi R18, and the Shelby Cobra 427 will all be put into the game for riders to experience. Along with the cars, the Livery Editor, Scapes, and Campaign modes will become available for offline play when the patch goes live. Polyphony also promised that were would e some tweaks and adjustments to the gameplay, although they haven’t gone into exactly what will get changed.

Also announced along with the update was a brand new single player mode titled “GT League.” Coming in December 2017 along with a future patch, GT League is based on the “GT mode” of previous titles, and allows players to race through a series of cup competitions from beginner to pro levels. Along with the December 2017 update, Polyphony has detailed some more cars coming to the game when the free update hits next month. 12 cars total will be added into the game, meaning that from now until March 2018, approximately 50 cars will have made their way into the game.
