Hatsune Miku Project Diva Future Tone DX Sales

Japanese Sales Chart: Pokémon Still a Big Deal, Hatsune Miku Debuts

Nobody could top pocket monsters off the top of the Japanese sales chart. In its second week of sales, Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon managed to sell over 160,000 units. That’s an incredible number, and shows the staying power of Nintendo’s role-playing game series (especially since this was more of a tweaked release rather than an all-new title).

In hardware sales, the Nintendo Switch once again managed to top the charts by an incredible margin. It outsold the second best selling console (the PlayStation 4) by over 100,000 units.

As far as new PS4 releases go, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone DX wound up coming in third with just under 35,000 units sold. Meanwhile, a new edition of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 came in at 16, and Wolfenstein II managed to chart, although the latter only sold 3,555 copies.
