Iga has released a new update for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, but this is a little different from the average update. Instead of something gameplay oriented, today we have a fashion update, showing off some new weapons and outfits coming to the Igavania. It’s a short video, but interesting regardless!

Here is the Bloodstained fashion update:

Iga provides a bit more context for the video on Kickstarter:

All the weapons you see here are new additions. There’s a fire sword, a two-handed axe, and a few other kinds of weapons. There’s even a maid headband that’s similar to the kind you might see in Akihabara.

We haven’t shown this before today—we can actually change hairstyles and scarves, too. Miriam looks so different when her hairstyle changes. This new one looks very fierce!

In addition, we included a look at three Bunny items—a headband, a scarf, and some boots. I think it’s a very stylish look, personally…

This system is another way to personalize the game, and I hope you have fun with it.

If you want to learn more about what Bloodstained has to offer gameplay-wise, we have you covered! Check out our E3 2017 preview:

The boss fight I got to check out was the same one that was featured in the recent E3 trailer (embedded above) for Bloodstained. It had me dodging a bunch of bloody-looking attacks, hiding under umbrellas to avoid damage, and learning the boss’ different attack patterns. Some of the patterns require precise movement by the player, but thankfully Ritual of the Night is up to the task. I never felt as if the controls were too floaty, and if I got hit by an attack it was because I screwed up.

What do you think of the new weapons?
