Final Fantasy XV Episode Ignis

Latest Final Fantasy XV DLC Episode Ignis is Out Now

Square Enix has spent some teasing fans on the upcoming Final Fantasy XV Episode Ignis release, but the day is finally here, and the DLC is now out. Set in the backdrop of the Trial of Leviathan, Episode Ignis puts players in a brand-new storyline told from the perspective of Ignis as he fights to protect Noctis.

Not only does Episode Ignis include new battles and a new storyline, but a new comrade – Ravus – and new music are also featured in the DLC. According to Square Enix, the routes follow the flow of the original story and change based on the decisions Ignis makes in the game. The post-game route is essentially a boss battle, but considered to be more difficult.

Players can also expect a battle against Noctis to appear once they beat the story, so there seems to be a ton of endgame content for players to experience no matter how long the main story takes.
