Despite yesterday’s news that Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom would once again be delayed, that didn’t stop Bandai Namco from giving us another look at the game. Today, the company released a brand new trailer for the game that also couples as a behind-the-scenes look at how the voice acting for the game is being done.
As you can tell from the trailer, we’re not shown much in the way of a story, but it does give us a great look at the many characters players will be coming across in their adventures. Towards the end, we see some actual gameplay footage and then a longer video after that features interviews and clips of the voice actors recording their character’s lines.
In case you missed it, yesterday Bandai Namco announced that Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom would be getting delayed once again, once again due to wanting to implement “new ideas” and “innovation”:
However, with innovation and new ideas comes the need to ensure everything works together in a fun and cohesive way; this means we’ll need a bit more time to make sure the entire Ni no Kuni II experience meets our highest quality standards. So today, I would like to ask for everyone’s patience as we move Ni no Kuni II’s worldwide release date to March 23, 2018. We will be sharing more news about Ni no Kuni II: REVENANT KINGDOM in the coming weeks and months as we move closer to our new launch date.
