CD Projekt Red Teaming With Warner Bros. for Cyberpunk 2077

Big news has happened in the space surrounding Cyberpunk 2077. Two giants are teaming up again. I am talking about CD Projekt RED and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The two companies are teaming up again on the game, which means Warner Bros. will be helping with some of the heavy lifting connected to such a game.

The specific role Warner Bros. will be taking with Cyberpunk 2077 was summarized in the official press release. Think of this being in the same situation as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Warner Bros. aided CD Projekt RED with that game too, helping with distribution in North America. It will be doing the same here, with Cyberpunk 2077.

That means that people can expect to hear Warner Bros. promoting Cyberpunk 2077 in North America. That company will also be making sure it gets out to stores in the region, as part of its distribution work.

As a reminder, Cyberpunk 2077 is looking like it will be a very big and very customizable game. It is going to be a first-person experience with optional HUD elements, the option to possibly overuse cybernetics, and a photo mode. It has also already inspired merchandise, even though it has not yet been released.

We still don’t know when Cyberpunk 2077 will be released. However, we do know it will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC when it does make its appearance.
