Fallout 76 Main Theme Released by Inon Zur

Fallout 76 Soundtrack

Inon Zur, the mad genius behind such fantastic game soundtracks as Dragon Age: Origins, Baldur’s Gate: Throne of Bhaal, Prince of Persia, and all previous Bethesda Fallout titles, has treated fans to the main theme of Fallout 76. You can listen to the full track below:

It certainly harkens back to the days of Fallout 3’s title menu, but this time with a more distinct front-porch, West Virginian vibe that does a fairly decent job of capturing the Appalachian Highlands.

There’s a distinct difference between this track and the ones that came before in the Fallout universe, however. Where the likes of Fallout 4, Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 3 captured that undeniable sense of isolation in an ever fatal landscape, Fallout 76’s main theme is more sweeping. It evokes a strong sense of hopeful endeavor, something that builds upon itself as though begging players to gather arms.

The theme strikes hard the dynamic of camaraderie, which is no surprise given the game’s emphasis on multiplayer.

Inon Zur’s soundtracks for both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas were also finally made available on Spotify, recently. With the upcoming release of Fallout 76, there’s no better time to psyche yourself up for Zur’s new West Virginian themed sounds by jumping back to where it all started.
