Back on Wednesday, Naughty Dog’s Community Strategist Eric Monacelli answered “Ha. Doubtful.” when he was asked the following question in a thread about The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC on the PS Blog:
UC4 Easter eggs??? UC4 for PS4 in 2014…LOU GOTY edition please!!!!!!! for PS3!
Following this, it was widely reported that he was saying “Ha. Doubtful.” about Uncharted 4 or The Last of Us: Game of the Year Edition releasing in 2014. To get some clarification on this, we contacted Monacelli, and he cleared everything up:
I answer the questions when replying. The only question was the Easter egg question. A lot of passion and gossip happening otherwise!
So, with Monacelli’s response, don’t expect to see any Uncharted 4 easter eggs in The Last of Us: Left Behind when the DLC launches on Friday, February 14th.
Sony also mentioned that although few details have been revealed on Uncharted 4, that it would be worth tuning into E3 for information. Could a solid release date be one of the “announcements” they’re talking about here?
