Posted only on the Spanish PlayStation Blog (there’s nothing on the US or EU ones), a new trailer for something called EMAGON appears to reveal a new PlayStation title, which will be fully revealed on December 5. With December 5 being the same day as The Game Awards – and a day ahead of PlayStation Experience and two days after PlayStation’s 20th anniversary on December 3 – we should expect more news on Friday night.
In the video’s description on YouTube, it reads: “Discover the best kept secret on PlayStation.”
Over on the ES PS Blog, the accompanying text talks about how PlayStation turns 20 years old this year and it’s a special occasion. They then call EMAGON’s trailer “mysterious” and say we’ll have to wait until December 5 before learning more.
In the video itself, here’s what the voice-over is saying:
20 years. It’s a lot of time. Look around you and see everything you’ve obtained. You’ve ruled in infinite places, you’ve conquered and freed. You’ve built and destroyed. You’ve been the light against the darkness. However, this time is different; this time, it’s real. For the first time, your actions have real consequences. They need your help. I know you can hear them. The power to change things is in your hands.
Do you think EMAGON is a game? Or since EMAGON is NOGAME backwards, do you think it’s something else? Maybe the final name for Project Morpheus?
EMAGON has been revealed in a new trailer today, and it turns out that it’s the way for gamers in Spain to grab the 20th Anniversary PlayStation 4:
With 350 units available, they will be sold through a charity auction on December 12, 13, and 14 through this website. All proceeds will then go to UNICEF and Juegaterapia.
