Producer Masaaki Yamagiwa not only shares some screens from Chalice Dungeons, but also talked about it as well.

Here's what Yamagiwa told us:
Just like Demon’s Souls, it really depends on the player’s skill. It’s hard to say. But we can say that the total game volume is bigger than Demon’s Souls.
Now, before you cry and exclaim that From has sold out, why not read why From is doing it, no?
In terms of who the game is aimed at, and who we want to capture in terms of the audience, obviously we can’t betray or disappoint the fans out there. They’re very, very important. They’ll be the main ambassadors of the game. [But] we do want more people to share this experience. You died a lot in the previous games, and you had to persevere, but one of our main goals with this game is that we don’t want to focus on punishing the player.
Expect weather and time changes in the game, but not in real-time.
Here's what Yamagiwa told us during a chat:
It’s not like it happens in real-time when you play, the sun goes down or something like that. It doesn’t happen. But yes, when you play through the story, there are variations of the weather and the time.
