In a series of announcements today, Arrowhead Game Studios revealed that a new Helldivers update today adds the Masters of the Galaxy expansion content for free on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
Here’s what’s included with the free expansion:
- New Trophies
- New Bug “Hive Lord” Enemy Master
- New Cyborg “Siege Mech” Enemy Master
- New Illuminate “Great Eye” Enemy Master
To celebrate, you’ll also find the Helldivers: Masters of the Galaxy Edition Bundle for $19.99/€19.99/£15.99. This is only available for a limited time and includes the Entrenched Pack — The AT-47 Anti-Tank Emplacement turret, the Anti-Personnel Barrier, and the SH-32 Directional Kinetic shield.
In terms of paid DLC available today, the Entrenched Pack, Pistols Pack, and Vehicles Pack will all be available separately for $2.99/€2.99 – $3.99/€3.99 each:
Finally, the Helldivers: Super-Earth Ultimate Edition is coming to retail stores and the PlayStation Store on August 18 in North America and August 26 in Europe. No price was announced, but here’s what’s included:
- Helldivers PS4 Game on Blu-ray
- Helldivers PS3 and PS Vita digital games
- Helldivers Turning Up the Heat and Masters of the Galaxy Expansions
- 11 DLC packs + bonus weapons pack + PS4 Dynamic Theme
