One of Naughty Dog's best may not be the first game you think of as addicting. But replaying the game on the PS4 brought with it a whole new desire to beat it repeatedly on its most brutal difficulties.
While it may not be the most hilarious game, the loot drop formula managed to sink its teeth into myself and several friends, many of whom are still dedicated to Bungie's ambitious world.
It may not have lasted long in my rotation, but it was a powerful draw while it was. The combination of drop-in/out gameplay with a constantly rewarding character progression system kept me coming back for more. With all the new updates, I should probably jump back in for a while.

Okay, maybe I'm a masochist. But Bloodborne sits at the top of my list for how enchanting the world and lore became for me. I've always loved the Souls' series, but it was Bloodborne that presented the most manageable and enticing experience of them all and had me steeped in its mythos long after the credits rolled. I cannot wait for the DLC, which is something I've never said before.
