Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Servers Outage Happening Right Now (Update)

Update:

As expected, the downtime wasn’t that bad and the Black Ops 3 servers has been operational since a few hours ago. Carry on, people! Shoot away!

Original Story:

If you’re looking forward to some double XP action in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, then you’d better hope that this current Black Ops 3 server downtime will be dealt with the time the double XP event starts.

Yep, unfortunately, it seems Black Ops 3 is down on the PlayStation 4 even if the official Black Ops 3 status page is at Defcon 5 which means “All online services are fully operational.” To date, the Activision Support Twitter account, the official Call of Duty Twitter account or Treyarch’s has officially confirmed the downtime, but given how I personally can’t connect after numerous tries, and people on Twitter seems to be having the same issues, I’d say it’s a server problem rather than all of our collective internet connections having issues at the same time.

Here’s the screen that’ll greet you when and if you try to connect to Black Ops 3’s multiplayer.

If you’re experiencing issues connecting to Black Ops 3 servers at this time, share where you are in the world in the comments below. We will, of course, update the story once we know more and if Activision officially acknowledges it.

In the meantime, go check out the new weapons available in the Black Market, or better yet, watch us open 60 Rare supply drops consecutively and see if we get anything good.
